Friday night we ventured off the beaten path to Littlefield, a fun party venue in the new neighborhood-of-the-moment, Gowanus, for the always fun and ultra queer dance party, Hey Queen!
The place was packed with beautiful queer folks dancing their butts off to fun sets by DJ D’hana Perry and DJ shomi noise. As cocktails flowed, groups of friends meshed creating a beautiful mob on the dance floor of lesbians, gay boys, trans girls, trans boys, bois, butches, fems and more!
Tinker Coalescing of TheThinkTheater: Queer Photography captured the magic with her trippy photo finish tricks that party revelers have come to love. Production coordinator, Connor Donahue, kept the party running smoothly, looking dashing as he did it in his signature dandy attire and eye make-up. We asked him how he would describe the spirit of this popular long running party and remarked on the party’s “welcoming ethos.” Telling us that “every night I come to this party I meet somebody new and marvelous. There’s an open vibe brimming with radical politics and tender conviviality.”
